Two LISAA Mode graduates win prizes at the Dinan International Festival of Young Designers
Like every year, the last weekend in October is dedicated to a very special event in the world of fashion : the Dinan Festival of Young Fashion Designers. Among the 10 designers who presented their collections, two students from LISAA Mode Paris won awards: Léo Lemée won the prestigious Grand Prix des Créateurs for his Maquisard collection and Lois Cousin won the Prix Surprise. A great success for these two LISAA graduates !
Léo Lemée won the Young Fashion Designer Prize
Léo Lemée, a young fashion designer from Val-d'Oise, won over the jury with an exceptionally mature men's collection. Succeeding to Aaron Teav, winner of the 2022 edition and also a former student of LISAA Mode, Léo wins the Grand prix des créateurs 2023. A remarkable accomplishment for this young fashion designer, who also won the professional jury prize at the LISAA Mode Paris show at the Elysée Montmartre.
His global vision, combining clothing and matching accessories, is a testament to his accomplished realism and contemporary elegance. With remarkable skill, Léo Lemée metamorphoses up-cycled felt into wearable art pieces, redefining modern sophistication. His collection, entitled "Maquisard", tells the story of a businessman who, after making a mistake, chooses to flee and live in the maquis.
Loïs Cousin wins the Surprise Prize for her men's collection
Loïs Cousin won the prize for his "S-Kizo" collection, demonstrating his skill in using volume to create garments that are functional, surprising and technical. The Surprise Prize was presented by Michael Scherpe, CEO of the official Messe Frankfurt France and Monaco delegation.
Inspired by urban architecture, Loïs Cousin's collection was born in an underground, streetwear universe. Exploring concepts such as modules, geometry, perspective and axonometry, the garments take on a new, more technical and functional dimension through carefully crafted details.
Exceptional prizes and awards The winners receive financial support worth a total of €100,000, including practical assistance and training offered by the Festival's prestigious partners. These prizes are a real boost for young fashion designers.

The Dinan Fashion Festival
Launched in 1993 by its president Dominique Damien Réhel, the International Festival of Young Fashion Designers has been held in Dinan (Côtes d'Armor) since 2016. This year, for its 27th edition, the festival was held under the honorary presidency of Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov, renowned designers from the "On Aura Tout Vu" fashion house. Once again, the event lit up Dinan, opening the doors of fashion design to the general public, with fashion shows in the town centre and the Theatre, and a round table focusing on eco-responsibility and digitalisation.
