Master Interior Architecture & Scenography
The Interior Architect & Scenography Design course prepares you to become professionals in interior architecture and design. After three years of general training, it allows you to specialise in interior architecture and scenography design through several approaches: scenography for live performances (theatre, opera, etc.), museography, retail events (sales outlets, pop-up stores, corners, etc.).
Careers
What does the job of a scenographic architect involve?
Scenography is the art of setting the scene. LISAA Paris' Interior Architecture & Scenography Design Master's degree takes two approaches to this specialisation:
- Firstly, scenography for live performances, notably through partnerships with the Rond-Point and Châtillon theatres. You will work with renowned set designers and choreographers. You will also work on sets and costumes.
- The second approach concerns the exhibition and retail. The work of the scenographer will highlight a space, a product or an object through a reflection on the circulation and organisation of objects. He brings coherence, as for example in the case of partnerships with Daum (Inside of Daum and Vitae), Arthus-Bertrand or CEEBIOS.
These staging skills are used in the field of retail, for the design of commercial spaces (boutiques, pop-up stores, corners in department stores, etc.) integrating a customer journey. Projects in partnership with Carrefour Source and Au bon moment are examples of applications.
