Alice Wood’s collection on the runway at Graduate Fashion Week in London
Once again this year, LISAA Fashion Paris will be participating in Graduate Fashion Week in London, from 4th to 7th June. The school will be represented by Alice Wood, third-year student on the fashion and textile design course.
ALICE WOOD’S COLLECTION: DJEBELAMOUR
LISAA is amongst 17 schools and universities from outside the UK to have been selected to participate in this year’s Graduate Fashion Week in London. The collection designed by Alice Wood, final year student in Fashion and Textile Design, will be shown on the catwalk.
Alice Wood’s collection tells the story of Gillian, a young Scottish girl travelling to Africa to trace her ancestors. Her adventure takes her from the Amour Range to Asafo in Ghana. On the way she encounters numerous obstacles, animal attacks and famine. She creates her own mythology: the two-headed turkey represents protection and family, the ferocious crocodile highlights danger and temptation.
My collection is inspired by tales, initiation stories and the accounts of female explorers.

Each look in Alice Wood’s collection is a step towards her goal. The collection is inspired by tales, initiation stories and the accounts of female explorers.
