LISAA presents its jewellery prototypes at the Bijorhca fair

Students from LISAA Fashion present their jewellery prototypes, created during a workshop in partnership with Köln International School of Design, at the international jewellery trade fair, Bijorhca Paris, on January 22nd.

Innovative jewellery design

Students from the Fashion Design-Pattern Making, Textile Design and Fashion Design / Fashion Business courses at LISAA Paris and Köln International School of Design worked for two weeks in Paris and Cologne to design and develop prototypes for steel necklaces.

Creation of prototypes at the Cologne FabLab

Having defined specifications and their development methods, the young designers created the prototypes for their projects in the cutting-edge FabLab at the International School of Design in Cologne (KISD).

The resultant productions will be the subject of an exhibition as part of the international jewellery trade fair, Bijorhca. A prize will be given to the best project on January 22nd.

Bijorhca

Bijorhca Paris is an international professional trade fair dedicated to jewellery. Twice a year, 450 exhibitors—of which 50% are international, coming from over 30 countries—come to present their latest collections to 14,000 professional visitors of almost 100 different nationalities.

For four days in the heart of Paris, buyers and designers come together, to exchange and seek inspiration from the season’s trends around original displays.
