L’Étudiant ranks LISAA as one of the best interior architecture schools
In its March 2016 issue, L'Étudiant interviewed professionals about their preferred schools and compiled a list of the most renowned design schools. As such, the magazine ranked LISAA as the third best private school for interior architecture courses.
CONNECTED OBJECT DESIGN
In order to best fulfil professional expectations and requirements, LISAA Paris and Rennes continually launch new projects. The two schools are launching a new bachelor’s course for the academic year beginning September 2016, which is centred on connected object design. This course trains designers to conceive objects or spaces to which technology is applied, allowing them to be connected to each other or to a service. The strength of this innovative course lies in its both global and multidisciplinary approach.
SERVICE DESIGN
The Interior Architecture & Design department at LISAA Paris also offers a master’s programme in service design and global design, starting at the beginning of the 2016 academic year. The service design course incites students to reflect upon the functionality and the form of services from a client’s point of view. Its aim is to ensure that the service interface is useful, useable and desirable from a client’s point of view, and efficient, reliable and distinguishable from the supplier’s point of view.
DESIGN MANAGEMENT
For those wishing to perfect their English and improve their management skills, it is also possible for students to join the international bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Design Managementin partnership with the private German university, MHMK Macromedia Berlin.
