L'Étudiant ranks LISAA as one of the best graphic design schools
In its March 2016 issue, L'Étudiant interviewed professionals about their preferred schools and featured LISAA on the list of most renowned design schools. As such, the magazine ranked LISAA as the fourth best private school for graphic design courses.
MOTION DESIGN
In order to best fulfil professional expectations and requirements, the graphic design departments at LISAA Paris and LISAA Rennes have launched a bachelor’s degree in Motion Design. This programme responds to increasing demand - from communications agencies in particular - for knowledge of the fields of film and television credits, music or advertisement videos, broadcast design, web banners, advertising on smart phones and tablets, animated documents or illustrated digital books.
UX DESIGN
In 2016, the graphic design department at LISAA Paris is launching a course in user experience design: a UX Design master’s – a way of broaching design whilst focusing on the uses and needs of users.
Derived from social sciences and an ergonomic approach, user experience aims to determine the satisfaction linked to the use of functions and to study how to best develop these. Since it was proved that user satisfaction is both linked to the capacity to commercialise a product/service and to the user’s perception of a brand, user experience refers to notions that are essential for communications, design and relationship marketing. It is therefore no longer solely based on ergonomic criteria, and is applied mainly to the field of digital design.
