Leather workshop with Manchester Metropolitan University
Fifteen students from MMU Manchester Metropolitan University came to LISAA Fashion Paris to co-create leather bags on the themes of the course projects of the fashion design students at LISAA.
LEATHER DESIGN AND PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Over the course of two days, fashion design students from LISAA and Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) co-designed leather bags. They collaborated together, each bringing a different vision to their creativity.
This enriching experience will continue at LISAA Mode Paris, with a leather workshop led by Robin Kerr, senior lecturer at MMU. Here the students will learn the basic techniques needed to make a leather bag. At the end of the week, each participant will have made at least one bag.
ERASMUS EXCHANGES
In April, students from LISAA Fashion will spend two days in Manchester to continue their collaboration with the students at MMU. This collaboration will lead to an exhibition in Manchester and in Paris. This exchange is undertaken as part of the Erasmus programme, of which LISAA is a member.
