Specializing in UX Design
The Graphic Design department at LISAA Paris offers a course in user experience design: a UX Design master’s – a way of broaching design whilst focusing on the uses and needs of users.
DETERMINING SATISFACTION LINKED TO USAGE
Derived from social sciences and an ergonomic approach, user experience aims to determine the satisfaction linked to the use of functions and to study how to best develop these.
COMMUNICATION, DESIGN AND RELATIONSHIP MARKETING
Since it was proved that user satisfaction is both linked to the capacity to commercialise a product/service and to the user’s perception of a brand, user experience refers to notions that are essential for communications, design and relationship marketing. UX design is therefore no longer solely based on ergonomic criteria, and is applied mainly to the field of digital and website design.
A MASTER’S LEVEL QUALIFICATION
The UX Design course is a master’s level qualification. It is open to students who have completed a bachelor’s degree or any three-year graduate degree. During the course, the budding UX Designers will have the chance to undertake work placements as interactive designers within companies.
UX DESIGN: A RISING CAREER
Although UX Design was previously integrated into website design, job offers that are specific to the field are now found, showing the increasing importance of the added value of this discipline within agencies’ strategies.
