The final of the Nokia Orange Innovation Challenge on the theme of e-health!
Two Interior Architecture and Design students at LISAA Rennes are part of the final team at the innovation challenge organised by Nokia and Orange. This year’s challenge is to design and make a prototype for a connected device dedicated to health.
E-HEALTH CHALLENGE WITH ORANGE AND NOKIA
Two fourth-year students in Interior Architecture and Design at LISAA Rennes took part in the second edition of the Innovation Challenge organised by Nokia and Orange on the theme of e-health. The young designers joined a team consisting of Innovation and Entrepreneurship MSc students from INSA Rennes and ESC Rennes.
This multidisciplinary team made it to the final of the competition, which took place on 15th December at the Orange Gardens campus.
TOKKI
In front of a panel of experts from Orange Health Care and Nokia Health, the students presented their project Tokki: 3-D glasses designed to improve the living conditions of hospitalised children.
AN EXCELLENT ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
This challenge enabled the young designers to showcase their skills and their vision as a real added value to a team consisting of engineers and business students.
Thanks to this innovative challenge, the young designers were taken out of their comfort zone to think of a global project, from design right through to the business model
Sonia Lecomte, head of LISAA Rennes
This challenge encouraged them to think of the design of an innovative device in its entirety, including a business model and a business plan. It was also an opportunity to present the project in English in a professional setting, in front of a panel of experts, and to meet students from different backgrounds.
Last year, the team of students from LISAA Rennes won the first challenge organised by Orange and Nokia, thanks to their connected library project, Waihona.
