LISAA shakes up fashion at Paris FashionTech Week
From 6th to 13th October, LISAA School of Fashion Paris is co-organising the 4th edition of Paris FashionTech Week.
TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION SUPPORTING FASHION
Paris FashionTech Week—co-organised by LISAA Fashion alongside NUMA, ESCP Europe, Hall Couture and others—highlights the links that bring together fashion, innovation and technology: wearables, augmented reality, 3-D printing, innovative textile materials, etc. The possibilities and perspectives for the fashion industry of tomorrow are endless.
LISAA School of Fashion Paris is involved in the issues of the future and will launch an advanced international course in FashionTech & e-business for 2017.
PARIS AT THE HEART OF FASHIONTECH
Paris, capital of fashion and European hub of innovation, is a key player in FashionTech. Paris brings together an ecosystem in full growth (luxury and ready-to-wear brands, designers, hackers, startups…) that is interested in the combination of these fields to promote, share and co-build FashionTech.
Beyond the success experienced at previous editions of this event with both the public and professionals, the event has also allowed innovative initiatives to be put into the spotlight, such as Wair, an anti-pollution scarf.
On the programme for this edition: FashionTech Challenge, Startup Pitch Night, an exhibition of avant-garde designers, panel discussions, networking events, and more. LISAA is organising a panel discussion with Tech Shop (Makerspace), Ulule (crowdfunding), La Paillasse (co-working space) and LISAA alumni on the theme of “Startups and Entrepreneurship—How to find support without a big budget? What possibilities are there for working and training—and where? On what platforms can recent graduates be seen?”
