Masterclass by Mac Guff animation studio
On 6th December, Animation students at LISAA will listen to a team from Mac Guff, the famous digital visual effects studio, for an exclusive masterclass.
MASTERCLASS BY A MAJOR ANIMATION STUDIO
On Thursday 6th December, LISAA School of Animation will welcome the Illumination Mac Guff studio for a masterclass specially organised for the students. Mac Guff is one of the biggest digital visual effects studios in Europe.
Many LISAA alumni from the 2-D and 3-D Animation bachelor’s courses, as well the Animation & Special Effects Supervisor & Director master’s course, have been hired by the studio Illumination Mac Guff after graduating. Many of them have also worked on films such as Despicable Me 3, The Secret Life of Pets and Minions.
A YEAR OF MASTERCLASSES HOSTED BY PROFESSIONALS
This conference follows on from the talk by animated film producer Emmanuel-Alain Raynal, who came to the school to talk to the students about his career and his production company, Miyu Productions. Several professionals host masterclasses throughout the year, reserved for students in animation and video games.
This is a real opportunity for the students who are then able to put their questions to the professionals who represent contemporary creation in the animated film industry.
