New online training content in fashion and luxury management

In 2018, the Fashion and Luxury Management master’s is undergoing a makeover, offering its students new interactive digital content for distance learning. New videos, new courses and new case studies will enable students to develop marketing and managerial skills in an even more stimulating way alongside their professional project.

NEW DISTANCE LEARNING

For the autumn term of 2018, the teaching team at LISAA Paris School of Fashion is presenting new e-learning educational content for distance learning in Fashion and Luxury Management on four main thematic units:

    • Fashion: discovering the history of fashion and studying the latest trends;

    • Products: an introduction to the textile product technique, product development, collection development, introduction to leather and cosmetics;

    • Marketing: learning the fundamentals of communication, branding, marketing and sales techniques;

    • Management: accounting, financial analysis, contract law and legal knowledge of the sector.

Each of the units includes a theoretical course accompanied by real case studies of marketing campaigns illustrated by press clippings and professional video testimonials.

Face-to-face classes enable students to enrich what they have learned on the online classes via an in-depth focus and different angles of analysis by industry specialists.

This digital platform is the only one of its kind France. It is the sole platform enabling students to study fashion and luxury marketing while working full-time over two years.

MOOC-STYLE TEACHING VIDEOS

The training units are illustrated by videos of about thirty professionals from the fashion and luxury sectors: textile engineers, fashion designers, production managers, product managers, collection managers, communication managers, administrative and financial directors, digital communication managers, buyers, etc.

These videos of between five and 15 minutes enable students to receive exclusive advice from professionals and to better envision, despite the distance, the practical side of the academic training.

A UNIQUE AND EFFICIENT ONLINE TRAINING MODEL

Through its online training in fashion management and luxury, LISAA is an industry leader as the only school in France to allow students to study and work full-time in a business for two years. And the results are there to prove it: 95% of students find a job in their industry prior to graduating.

A LISAA X STUDI COLLABORATION

The videos were produced by LISAA in partnership with the online training expert Studi, founded in 1999. With their respective experience, the two schools shared what they do best: associating top-level teaching and in-depth knowledge of the sector with the ability to deliver knowledge via modern digital web and audio-visual means.
