Nicolas Cabanes-Gelly presents his collection at London's Graduate Fashion Week
Once again, LISAA Mode Paris is taking part in the annual London Graduate Fashion Week from 3rd to 6th June 2018. The collection of Nicolas Cabanes-Gelly, a third-year student in Fashion Design/Pattern Making, will be shown on the runway alongside 46 other collections by young international designers.
ABORTED REQUIREMENTS, A STREET-CHIC COLLECTION
LISAA is one of 46 schools and universities from outside the UK to be selected to participate in this year’s London Graduate Fashion Week. Nicolas Cabanes-Gelly, a third-year student in Fashion Design/Pattern Making at LISAA Paris, will show his collection on 6th June.
This menswear collection combines the restrictive business dress code with that of casual homewear. Through this contrast, the clothes highlight the identity of each individual by maintaining a strictness and structure adapted to the world of work.
Hugh Hefner is the main iconic inspiration behind this collection due to the contrast between his phenomenal business success and his casual way of wearing a bathrobe in his personal life.

LONDON GRADUATE FASHION WEEK
Graduate Fashion Week is one of the most prolific sources of new talent for the global fashion industry. It invites the most prestigious universities and fashion schools to present the collections of their top graduates at the 2018 International Catwalk Competition. Each school is allowed to present only one collection.
Graduate Fashion Week has brought award-winning designers to the fore, such as Christopher Bailey, winner of the first Graduate Fashion Award, Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, Matthew Williamson and Julien Macdonald.
