Meeting the graphic design duo Helmo
Graphic design students at LISAA Strasbourg had a preview visit to the exhibition Helmo/Jazzdor 15 Years of Images and Music at the CEAAC. It was an opportunity to meet the famous graphic design duo.
AN OPPORTUNITY TO MEET DESIGN DUO HELMO
Students on the Graphic Design BTS course in Strasbourg had the opportunity to discover the graphic design exhibition Helmo/Jazzdor 15 Years of Images and Music before its opening to the public at the Centre Européen d’Actions Artistiques Contemporaines (CEAAC).
For this occasion they had the privilege of meeting Thomas Couderc and Clément Vauchez, who have formed the famous duo Helmo for the last ten years. The graphic designers took the students on a private tour of their exhibition. The students were able to ask questions directly to these renowned designers in the field of graphic design.
HELMO/JAZZDOR EXHIBITION
This exhibition covers the collaboration between the Helmo Studio and the Jazzdor Festival in Strasbourg, a cultural event that has today established itself as one of the most important events of the season in the field of jazz and improvised music.
For over 15 years, Helmo has created the visual identity of the event while seeking to create a dialogue between the art of sound and that of image. On display at the CEAAC, this exhibition is an opportunity to discover a wide range of posters, books and documents created by Helmo over recent years, as well as a not-seen-before work created especially for the space.
