"Retrato de Familia", a group show organised by former LISAA student Titeepex

LISAA is in the spotlight all over the world! The exhibition brings together 33 artists from around the globe around a theme that is both universal and personal: family. It will be on display until December in Mexico.

Family portrait

For this exhibition, 33 artists have joined together around one theme: family. This universal subject crosses "cultures, borders and times", says Tiphaine de Rougé, curator of the exhibition and former student of LISAA Graphic Design Paris.

Everyone has a family. But every situation is unique, every vision is different. And, "the culture in which we grow up and evolve has a great influence on our vision and our concept of what the family is," observes Tiphaine de Rougé, who is also known by her pseudonym, Titeepex.

Taking this reflection as a starting point, the former LISAA student imagined the exhibition "Retrato de Familia". From Colombia to Germany via Lebanon, the event highlights artists from all over the world, including Julia JJL, Chloé Maksoud, Constance Frémiot and Bertille Bodin, who also studied at LISAA.

An exhibition in Mexico

From photographs and paintings, to collages and illustrations, the exhibition is composed of several works and takes place at the Coordena Azul gallery in the La Condesa neighbourhood in México until next December.
