Preparation for the Verallia Design Awards
For the launch of the Verallia Design Awards, third year interior architecture and design students at LISAA Paris visited the Verallia production plant.
A customized visit
To prepare for the Verallia Design Awards, 3rd year Interieur Design / Environmental Design students at LISAA Paris benefited from a customized visit to the Verallia production plant (formerly Saint Gobain) based in Chalon-sur-Saône. They were able to discover all the details of the production chain.
A conference on glass and the implementation of glass making techniques was also offered. This was a wonderful opportunity for industry professionals to share their experiences with young designers.
Verallia Design Awards
En créant en 2009 son concours de création packaging, Verallia a souhaité offrir un laboratoire de création permettant aux étudiants en design et packaging d’explorer le potentiel créatif, technique et marketing du verre d’emballage.
By creating its packaging design competition in 2009, Verallia wanted to offer a creative laboratory for design and packaging students to explore the creative, technical and marketing aspects of glass containers.
Each edition of the Verallia Design Awards reunites hundreds of participants from technical schools. The projects revolve around the production of glass in traditional markets (wine, spirits, juice / water / syrups) but also new markets (food, lifestyle...), paving the way for future operations in food packaging.
